BIOGRAFIA
In attività dal 1995, Luca Guerrieri vive a Follonica (GR) e lavora nel suo Double Vision Studio. Il suo sound è davvero difficile da definire, visto che attraversa tutti o quasi i diversi generi di musica elettronica.
Nel 2019, su Claps Records, la label che gestisce con Marco Roncetti, è uscito il suo primo album, “It Never Ends”, che contiene alcuni brani downbeat. Nella primavera 2020 ecco “Homemade”, un album prodotto “in quarantena”, mentre in autunno è stata la volta di “Nightmares”, un viaggio musicale elettronico attraverso pandemia e impossibilità di vivere insieme l’energia della musica. Il 21 maggio 2021 ecco “Timeless” e nello stesso periodo anche la produzione di “Feelings”, album della cantautrice italo inglese Meri. Dopo diverse altre esperienze, nel maggio 2022, ecco un “remix” di “Maremma Amara”, una delle più celebri e struggenti canzoni della tradizione popolare toscana, realizzata con la cantante Liliana Tamberi, che qualcuno non per caso chiama “la Voce della Maremma”.
Dal 2017 Guerrieri ogni anno organizza Meet Music, una convention totalmente gratuita che si tiene a Follonica all’inizio di ogni estate. L’obiettivo è quello di aiutare chi si approccia alla musica in diversi ruoli, mettendo a disposizione l’esperienza di professionisti di alto livello.
Tra i successi di Luca Guerrieri vanno citate almeno “Tears” (suonata anche nel main stage del Tomorrowland) e “Harmony”, battezzata da Pete Tong nel suo programma su BBC Radio 1 e i remix per artisti coe Bob Sinclar, Marshall Jefferson, Sidekick, Dirty Vegas, Watermat, Roland Clark (…). Con Federico Scavo ha prodotto “Strump (Blow It)”, “Bug”, “Que Pasa”, “Balada”. Con Shorty (Radio Deejay, m2o) ha coprodotto “Canta Canta”, “Vazilando” ed “El Sonido”, mentre con Tommy Vee “Bang Bang” e “Press Play”.
In Italia Luca Guerrieri è esibito in molti dei locali di riferimento, mentre nel mondo ha fatto ballare top club come Privilege (Ibiza), Sankeys (Ibiza), Cielo (Dubai) e Carrusel Club (Sofia).
LUCA GUERRIERI ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY
DJ and producer Luca Guerrieri began his career in 1995. He lives in Follonica (GR) and works in his Double Vision Studio. His sound is really difficult to define, since it crosses all or almost all the different kinds of electronic music.
For instance, in 2019, on Claps Records, the label he manages with Marco Roncetti, he released his first album “It Never Ends”. Some of the 15 tracks of the album (9 unreleased and 6 of the most important of his career) are downbeat. In spring 2020 “Homemade” was released, an album produced “in quarantine”, while in autumn came “Nightmares”. It’s was very personal electronic musical journey through the pandemic and impossibility to live together the energy of music. On May 21st 2021 came out instead “Timeless”, a warning about the future of our earth in the form of the an electronic music album. Among the different tracks, there’s “Risvegli”, accompanied by an amazing video starring Fabio Troiano, one of the most successful Italian actors. On the same day was released “Feelings”, the album of the Italian-English singer-songwriter Meri that Luca Guerrieri produced.
In 2017 Guerrieri founded Meet Music, a totally free convention held in Follonica, in the South of Tuscany, during the last week of June. The goal is to help who approach music to better understand the profession of DJ, providing the experience of who has been in show business for many years. In 2020 and 2021, Meet Music Live Online puts together anyway professionals and young talents, thanks to MINI Meets Music Contest. He also participated as a teacher for two years at the Italian Jagermeister / Jagermusic Lab.
Among the songs produced by Luca Guerrieri should be mentioned at least “Tears” (played on Tomorrowland’s main stage) and “Harmony”, baptized by Pete Tong in his show on BBC Radio 1. Over the years Luca Guerrieri has remixed songs by dozens of international artists including Bob Sinclar, Marshall Jefferson, Sidekick, Dirty Vegas, Watermat, Roland Clark (…). Luca Guerrieri’s long collaboration with Federico Scavo produced many successful tracks, as “Strump (Blow It)”, “Bug”, “Que Pasa”, “Balada”. Together with Shorty (Radio Deejay, m2o), Luca co-produced “Canta Canta”, “Vazilando” and “El Sonido”, while with Tommy Vee “Bang Bang” and “Press Play”.
In Italy he performed in many of the top clubs, while he gave his sound to International top clubs like Privilege (Ibiza), Sankeys (Ibiza), Cielo (Dubai), Carrusel Club (Sofia).
